Outstanding!!! Promptly seated (reservations were made) as we had a table for the eight of us. Great corner table with a view of the fog and rain, no sunshine. But, still able to check out some of the beautiful boats in the harbor. Our server, Allison was all smiles, knowledgable of menu and top notch taking care of us and her other tables. Food was prepared to perfection and served with a beautiful display. Some of the highlights we enjoyed at the table were the Clam Chowder, best ever in Michigan (and I know chowder). Chicken Milanese, Steak Sicilian w/side of pasta prepared Palomino way and Ammoghio. Others had the Filet, the Maine Lobster Claw with Scallops/Shrimp. Sides of Caeser Salad and the big hit, side of Mexican Street Corn. Kudos to a great wine list and having Octoberfest beer on tap as it's in season. I say this because several restaurants in the area are negligent on season preparedness. All the food portions were sized right and at a fair prices. Kudos to the entire crew, worth the one hour drive from Oxford

My first time @Hook. The meal, service, and atmosphere was amazing. The oysters looked like they benched pressed before being served.

Such a great atmosphere. To be able to sit on the deck and watch the boats go by is a great way to spend a summer evening. Highly recommend the calamari!

Stopped by here for a quick drink and ending up becoming completely obsessed. This was my first time here so walking in, i definitely thought i was underdressed but i wasn't. The outside patio was all the vibes i was looking for. My bartender was 10/10. Idek his name but he was great. He made me a margarita and I asked him not to make it too sweet and he delivered. I got the smoked trout dip and when I say that good is an understatement. That smoked trout dip is SCRUMPTIOUS. My whole experience was great and I will be returning.

The food was good, and plenty of it for the price. The sushi had pretty fresh, and dint have the fishy taste at all. The crab cakes were my least favourite, they were kind of bland with strong fishy taste. The battered fish piece was huge and soft. The service was my favourite part, we went on Father's Day without reservations and our server did amazing. The place is huge with plenty of seating. The outdoor seating area was slightly dirty, and too many may flies.

We decided to come here for our family dinner. The food was very good. It was a little loud so I didn't quite hear our waitress. Also I didn't love that they only had high tops available. The seats were hard for my elderly father and daughter to sit in. Other than that everything was wonderful and I'd definitely check them out!

Met friends here on a Friday night at the beginning of the Mardi Gras. They had specials for this event to include shrimp and crawfish with dirty rice- very tasty dish! And of course- I jumped ahead to the meal. I forgot to mention the lighting inside and decor is somehow warm and clean. We stopped at the bar while we waited for a table and had a dirty martini- they made both gin and vodka! Delicious blue cheese stuffed olives! For dessert we had a flaming bread pudding that was delicious- of course with a great presentation. Looking forward to a return visit!

Went to dinner after dark, and the drive from the street back to the restaurant was a bit dark and scary....lol. Once you get to the restaurant entrance, you are greeted by complimentary valet, which is always appreciated. On Friday evenings, there was a nice cover band playing, surprisingly the restaurant was pretty empty for a Friday night. Our group had reservations, but reservations were not needed that night. Our server was very nice and efficient and brought our drinks and appetizers quickly. Most of our group was satisfied with their drinks and apps, biggest complaint was that then drinks were inconsistent. Dinner was amazing....everyone was pleased with their dishes. Our group had lamb chops, salmon, surf and turf, lobster mac n cheese, and branzino. Unfortunately we spent a lot of the night swatting gnats. If not for that, definitely would have been a 5 star experience.
